The Calder Gate Repair Las Vegas Guarantee

When we fix a gate in Las Vegas, we put our name on it. That’s not a slogan. Calder Gate Repair stands behind every repair with the 365-Day Done Right Promise, and we spell it out in writing before we ever touch a wrench. If our repair fails within 365 days, we come back and make it right at no charge. No fine print about “normal wear.” No arguing about what the warranty was supposed to mean. The guarantee says what it says: if it’s not done right, Calder makes it right. Nico Alvarez, Owner at Calder Gate Repair Las Vegas, built this policy because a gate that quits working two weeks after a repair isn’t a repair. It’s a problem we haven’t finished solving.

What’s Covered

  • Workmanship on every repair we perform. If a solder joint fails, a limit switch adjustment slips, or a splice comes loose because of how we did the work, the return visit is free for a full year from the original repair date.
  • Parts we supply and install. When we bring a part to your Las Vegas property, we’re responsible for making sure it was the right part, installed the right way. If a part we supplied fails during the guarantee window, we handle the replacement at no charge.
  • Cleanup and respect for your property. Your driveway gets left the way we found it, minus the broken parts. Our technicians carry out old components, wire clippings, and packaging unless you tell us otherwise.
  • On-time arrival with a real person tracking us. Every appointment comes with a live, trackable arrival time. Your technician is background-checked and shows up in uniform. You know who’s coming and when they’ll pull up.
  • Honest pricing, agreed to before work starts. The written price we hand you before the repair begins is the price on the invoice when we finish. No surprises, no “we found something else while we were in there” without a conversation and a new written price first.

Our Satisfaction Promise

If something isn’t right after we leave, you don’t have to convince anyone to take you seriously. The process for our satisfaction promise is straightforward: call us at (725) 220-0280, tell us what’s wrong, and we’ll schedule the return visit. Since a live person answers every call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, you’re never leaving a voicemail and hoping. You’re talking to a human who can book the truck then and there.

When we arrive for a return visit under the 365-Day Done Right Promise, we’re not reopening the job as a new charge. We’re finishing the job we already committed to. If our repair didn’t hold, if a part we installed failed, or if something we adjusted slid back out of alignment, that second visit costs you nothing. We cover the labor and whatever part was necessary to make the original repair correct. Nico has personally gone back out at 9 p.m. on a Saturday when a gate stopped closing and a customer couldn’t secure their property overnight. That’s not a guarantee story. That’s the job.

Licensed & Insured Backing

A guarantee is only as good as the company standing behind it. Calder Gate Repair Las Vegas is a licensed and insured gate repair business, which means there’s a real, enforceable standard behind our work. Licensing means we’re accountable to Nevada’s requirements for operating a legitimate repair business. Insurance means if something goes wrong while we’re on your property, you’re protected, not left holding the bill. We don’t advertise credentials we can’t produce. When you hire Calder Gate Repair, you’re hiring a business with the paperwork to back the promise, not a truck with a phone number and a good pitch.

But What About the Gate Opener Manufacturer’s Warranty?

Here’s where people get confused, and it’s worth clearing up. Your gate opener itself, the motor and control board unit, often has a manufacturer’s warranty from whichever brand you own, whether that’s LiftMaster, FAAC, BFT, Linear, Viking, Ghost Controls, DoorKing, Elite, or Mighty Mule. Some of those warranties cover parts only for a limited period, some cover labor through specific conditions, and none of them cover the labor we do or the parts we install as part of our repair. They cover the factory defects in the unit itself.

Our 365-Day Done Right Promise covers the work we do and the parts we bring. The two warranties don’t overlap and don’t cancel each other out. If your opener’s control board fails because of a factory defect, that’s a manufacturer conversation. If our splice fails or the limit switch we installed goes bad, that’s ours, and it’s free. We’re factory-familiar with all nine major brands, so we know what the manufacturer’s terms look like for each one, and we’ll be honest with you about which warranty applies to your situation before we start the repair.

What Happens If Something Fails After 365 Days?

Even after the 365-day window closes, you’re still dealing with us, not starting from zero. Many of our Las Vegas customers have been calling us for years because we keep records of every repair we’ve done on their property. If we installed a part that’s now reaching the end of its useful life, we can look up exactly when we installed it and tell you whether it lasted a reasonable amount of time. If it didn’t, we’ll often work with you on the replacement. That’s not a written guarantee. It’s the difference between a company that tracks its work and one that rushes to the next job.

Why the 365-Day Window Matters in Las Vegas

Gate hardware in this climate takes a beating. Summer temperatures above 110 degrees stress motors, solder joints, and control boards. Dust from the desert settles into gear tracks and optical sensors. Metal expands and contracts in ways that gradually push limit switches out of position. A repair that holds for two weeks in mild weather might fail in August if the install wasn’t done right for Las Vegas conditions. We build our repairs for this environment, and the 365-day window is there because we know the first real test of our work is a full summer. If our repair can’t survive one Las Vegas year, we didn’t do the job. And when we don’t do the job, you don’t pay again.

What’s Not Covered

  • Physical damage to the gate itself. If a car backs into your gate or a delivery truck clips the post, that’s an insurance conversation, not a workmanship defect in our repair.
  • Repairs made by other companies or DIY attempts after our work. If someone else opens the panel and starts adjusting things, the specific work we did is no longer the only variable. We’ll still come out and fix it, but the 365-day guarantee applies to our work as we left it, not as a third party modified it.
  • Normal wear on parts we did not supply. Gate wheels, hinges, and rollers wear down over years. If a part we didn’t install reaches the end of its lifespan during the guarantee window, that’s a new repair job with its own written price and its own 365-day window when we’re done.

What To Expect When You Call

Every Calder Gate Repair job follows the same process from the first call to the final invoice. We call it The Relay Standard, and it’s the reason our customers in Las Vegas know exactly what they’re getting before we arrive. A live person answers the phone, not a voicemail or a bot. You’ll get a real arrival time you can track, not a four-hour window that leaves you waiting in the driveway. Your technician shows up in uniform, background-checked, and ready to diagnose the problem before touching anything. You receive a written price, and nothing starts until you approve it. After the repair, you get before-and-after photos of the work and a digital invoice you pay from a link. The 365-Day Done Right Promise is written on that invoice, along with the terms of the free second visit if the repair fails. Nothing is hidden because nothing needs to be.
